Apple Watch microphone static after battery was unplugged

So I recently had a local guy unplug my apple watch 6 battery for a HARD reset that presently bricked itself, the watch works perfectly fine but the microphone has no sound other that static in voice memo and bounces between 39 and 46 dbs, and won’t even let me ask Siri anything.

I believe that the local guy used heat to remove the screen to access the battery if that gives any indication of what is wrong.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
