how to remove encryption from new external hard drive. can't get it to back up my data on my mac. No memory left on the Mac Air and I can't back up to the external hard drive so I can transfer my data to new Mac Pro

How did you encrypt it to begin with?
It’s new and said encrypted when I bought it.
