Macintosh HD disappeared after factory resetting MacBook Air.

When i was fiddling to reset my mac. I got to recovery and erase macintosh hd for factory reset and when im gonna install macos it didn't appear. So i got a tip to reset nvram so i did and got to recovery by using cmd+option+r. I was relieved it was there then i installed. But suddenly it error and said it disappeared, i checked the utility disk and the only thing i see is the disk image no ssd. Please help me 🤧

Boot into Restore mode,CMD+r keys...

Look at top of screen for Utilities menu...

In Disk Utility>View, select Show all Devices, highlight the top left entry.

Format the top left entry to APFS format.

The most top is the disk image. Theres no internal ssd showed even if i show all devices. So erase the apple disk image?

Nope. I fear your internal drive is dead, Either replace the drive or insall to an external drive or SSD.

Well my god im devastated god!, do i just inject a ssd hard drive in the usb slot then mount it??

Which exasct Mac do you have?

Does it have USB2 or USB3?

I have a macbook air 2017 13". And i think it has usb 3?? Im not really sure

Yes, you have USB3, for a Portable I'd recommend one of these, easy to eject & pocket if away from your Laptop &comes in a variety of capacities...

You'll insert it in the Mac, Boot into restore Mode then Install the OS to it.

Bro it suddenly appeared when i had this super long internet recovery loading but my problem now is the error in preparing update but im gonna constantly reset na nvram someone said that u need persistence for it
