Is it safe to use an Apple Watch SE with a swollen battery?

This is the second time it’s happened to me. It’s a Nike SE. This watch replaced my original because the battery swelled and popped the screen off. Now the exact thing has happened to the repair/replacement. It still works but should I use it, if I can glue? If it’s dangerous and this is happening shouldn’t apple recall? I’m not buying another my v first generation watch is still going strong so I think it’s a fault with the later models. They wanted to charge me £250 to repair it but it’s cheaper to buy a new watch and it’s not worth getting an apple one. I just wanted to make sure it’s not dangerous to reseal and use.
