Sony Bravia TV turning on by itself, perhaps after setting Apple TV

I hooked up my Apple TV HD 4K to my Sony Bravia 4K UR2.

Everything worked great. The Siri controller controlled the TV's volume (with Sony external speakers), mute, power function, etc, after setting the Home Theater' volume control to Auto.

Perfect, except the tv would turn itself back on, without fail.

It was annoying and I changed many settings but nothing worked; the tv would religiously turn itself on after turning it off using the Siri remote.

I then found the Remote and Accessories's RS232C control option in the Sony's menu and disabled (turned to off) the "Others > RS232C control" and it worked; the TV would no longer turn itself off.
