White outlines of my pictures

The pictures on my iPhone 12 Pro Max have a white line that traces the outline of my pictures. This is the first time I’ve seen this. Do anyone know what this is?

You will be seeing the white outline, while you are viewing the details of a photo and tap the subject in the photo. This will cause Photos to extract the subject, so you can copy and paste it somewhere. The outline will vanish, when you tap the Info button below the photo to close the details.

It is fun to copy the subject to your stickers collection and then to use Markup to add the sticker to another photo. It is currently the only and easy way to remove the background behind an object and combine parts of separate images into one.
