AppleCare+ battery replacement delay for MacBook Pro in Aberdeen

Hello Apple,

Apparently, I can get a free battery replacement for my MacBook Pro as part of my AppleCare+ plan. However, I was told that it could take 5–7 days before I get my laptop back, despite having a large (local) Apple store in Aberdeen.

Really? 5–7 days to replace a battery? Who can be without a laptop for that long? What is the practical benefit of AppleCare+ if it involves such delays? It feels like a car or home insurance—where the conditions make you think twice before filing a claim.

Bye AppleCare+
