Updating Safari to Chrome on Mac OS High Sierra

I have a Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.6 and am using Safari 13.1.2 Can I update to Chrome browser?

No. Safari and Chrome are entirely different things, you can't update one to the other.


You could download Chrome as the separate browser that it is, the current version doesn't work on High Sierra.


You will need to find other browsers that can work on High Sierra such as PaleMoon.

And do understand that finding web browsers that can work in such old operating system versions is going to keep getting increasingly more difficult as more time passes.
