How to Get a Refund for a Wrongfully charged Trial Period Apple Subscription?

I was wrongfully charged for an app subscription even though it was supposed to be a trial. I purchased it on January 25th, but now I don’t see the refund option available. To make things more complicated, I’m currently traveling outside my home country and my bank called about this transaction.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? Any advice on how to request a refund from Apple in this situation? Would really appreciate any help!

Trial subscriptions usually become paid subscriptions if you do not cancel the trial 24 hours before the trial ends. By not canceling the trial, you are authorizing Apple to charge you for the paid subscription.

The trial for Verevio was three days. To avoid it becoming a paid subscription, you needed to cancel it before the end of the 2nd day.

Things about subscriptions;

⁃ Deleting an app does not cancel the subscription.

⁃ A trial subscription must be canceled more than 24 hours before the renewal date or it may renew.

⁃ Many subscriptions are set to renew automatically until you cancel them.

⁃ If you see multiple subscription offers, as long as you don’t select one, the subscription shouldn’t renew.

⁃ If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is canceled and won't renew.

⁃ An expiration date means the current subscription has been canceled but is available to use until that date.

⁃ Use Resubscribe/Renew if you change your mind about canceling the subscription.

Yes I understand that I cancelled immediately when i downloaded the app and have done multiple times. Then what was the issue.

I also noticed that despite the charge, the app still prompts me to upgrade to the Pro version. Additionally, as I am currently traveling outside my home country, I do not see the refund option available for this app on my Apple account.
