I recently noticed a nearly imperceptible dead pixel on my 15-day-old MacBook Air M3. How common are these issues? Would it be worth getting the display replaced?
I've seen reports of people who had their screens swapped by Apple, only to encounter another dead pixel later.
What are your thoughts?

Dead pixels happen from time to time. Considering that there are several million of them on every MacBook screen, it's bound to happen.
No, I wouldn't recommend replacing the screen because of an 'almost imperceptible dead pixel".
As you suggested, it's very possible that some other less desirable issue could be introduced with the service. Don't temp fate.

Based upon your description the answer is "probably not". Apple's decision to replace it is predicated on the total number of dead pixels, their positions on the display, and their proximity to one another. One pixel is not likely to be considered sufficient.
