iPhone 4 and WiFi

I have home network with Airport Extreme. My iPhone 4 will freeze data transfer very frequently. It shows connected, but no data transfer. I have to turn WiFi off then turn it back on in order to have it continue data transfer - until the next freeze. I tried a restore on the iPhone, but the problem persists. Anyone else with WiFi problems?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

we have issues in 2 households. one on a new router and one on a router that has always worked (until we upgraded to io6 & 6.01.

there are 2 iphone 4s and 2 ipads. They wont stay connected when they got to sleep and they wont reconnect when they come back in to the house to a known network.

I see lots of discussions re 'it must the router/phone/ipad/network', but I think it must be IOS related as one day it just all stopped working and when I upgraded my mum's ipad, she stopped working too!
