iMac automatically sending sound to my iPhone via Bluetooth

I turn on Youtube on my iMac and then the iMac turns on Buetooth, so the sound no longer comes from my Bose speakers, but goes to my iPhone which happens to be connected to my hearing aids. This occurs without my touching settings. If I reset, the problem recurs.

MacBook Air won't connect with my Bose QC earbuds My Bose QC earbuds connects to my iphone fine. The macbook air I have does not pair, or even locate it via blue tooth. I have done everything that bose suggests. Since it pairs fine with my iphone it is not a bluetooth issue on the earbuds end. Any ideas what I can try?

Please check. your Bluetooth settings and also restart the computer in Safe Mode and then restart normally and re-test.
