Double click instead of passcode

You also stated that your passcode does not seem to work correctly. The passcode that you use inside the App Store is your Apple ID/Account password. If you enter this Apple ID/Account password, is it still not working to purchase the app?

Okay. That's what I was wondering. Did you enter your Apple Account password (not your device passcode)? You need to enter this password once before the double-click app purchase with Face ID functionality is unlocked. If needed, you can follow these steps to reset your Apple Account password:

Update to iOS 18.3, as well.
