Pink bubble for contact text on iMessage

When addressing a text, I usually see blue contact bubbles for iPhone users and green contact bubbles for non-iPhone users, but lately I'm also seeing Pink contact bubbles. What does the pink bubble signify?

Blue bubbles replaced by green ones! I had been sending and receiving iMessages (blue bubbles) with no problem but suddenly, sending them to one particular contact (for whom they were previously blue), they turned green. I have checked the settings of my iPhone that iMessage is still activated and is! I would like to know why this happened and how to revert to blue iMessages for this particular contact who also has an iPhone not Android. For all my other contacts, the bubbles are blue and have presented no problem!

Contacts blinking sometimes after sending a message. Hi, i’ve noticed recently that often when i send a message the circle at the top at the top above the persons name which should be a photo is blinking. This happens on both imessage and normal sms. My first thought is it’s probably a software issue but i’ve been getting anxiety that possibly it could be a security issue. No one i know has the same and i can’t find much information online other than an unanswered reddit question if you could help thanks!
