iPhone 14 keypad not recognised during outgoing call

iPhone 14.

Have tried restarting.

Have tried the phone > from banner to full screen

Have tried the reset keyboard dictionary

and still my keypad entries are being ignored/ not recognised. I’m beyond frustrated bc the business I’m calling doesn’t just put you through after a few failed attempts to select an option. But it’d be nice to get this sorted. TIA
