Labels on icons/folders not showing up on iPad (10th generation)

Why are the labels on icons/folders not showing up on iPad (10th generation)? I have turned on the labels button but no labels. Is there a solution?

Missing Copy, Paste and Formatting icons on my iPad Pro I had to restore my iPad Pro from backup recently. Since then I have noticed some odd things. The copy, paste, and other formatting icons that are normally at the bottom of a page are gone. I have looked everywhere in Settings to see if a switch had somehow got turned off but I don’t see anything related to these icons. Ant assistance will be greatly appreciated. How to change the color of text labels on the home screen (iOS16)? Even though I now have nice white letters on my lock screen (day/date/time), on my home screen all labels are black. I'd like them white in both places. (Ditto for the info on the top of the each screen, like carrier name, WiFi icon, time, battery %.)

To which icons/folders/labels do you specifically refer? Perhaps you refer to those seen within the Files or other Apps - or maybe on the iPad Home Screens? Something else?
