I've been on w Apple care...tried all fixes...update done, restarts. She said might have to go to an apple store, but it seems like it should be fixable.

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN.

Have you restarted your router? Remove all power from it for about 15 seconds.
yes i restarted the router a few times.....then went out and tried to connect to a public network....not working, so it must be a phone or Apple update problem, i'd think.
