Suspicious text about locking iPhone and accessing device

I received a text that someone was getting to lock my phone and someone was trying to access my device. There was a link to click to secure it. Should I use it? I will be extremely ****** if I lose fills and photos.

I received a text saying someone was going to lock up my phone. They were trying to access my device. What do I do?

That is a scam attempt. Do not interact with it. No one can lock your iPhone or access your data.

If you received a text from an unknown source that someone was trying to break into your home or apartment.......would you believe it?

NEVER click on a link or call the phone number in a scam message like the one that you received. At best, they are trying to trick you into buying useless software that will do nothing to help your phone. At worst, they will trick you into providing your personal information.
