Unable to download Epson scanner package on MacBook Air

You have not told us which Epson scanner you have.

You might give Apple's own Image Capture app a try. Find it in Applications > Utilities > Image Capture or use Launchpad and find it in the application group "Other".

Please be more specific as to why you are unable to download Epson's scanner software. Are you possibly trying to install the wrong software? Since this is a non Apple product you should contact Epson directly for assistance. If all fails you can download and install a trial version of VueScan which will work. (The trial version leaves a watermark.)
