Camera app opens overexposed at certain light conditions on iPhone 16 Pro Max

I’ve been noticing that the camera app opens for a second with some kind of overexposure and then it proceeds to go back to normal but only on certain light conditions . I don’t have any camera preserved settings turned on except the live photos and portrait zoom. This doesn’t happen on my friend’s 15 Pro Max but it’s still on iOS 17 something.

I’m on 18.3 but this has been happening even on previous iOS 18 versions. I have tried restarting the phone but to no success.

No, I’m saying that when the phone is close to the heater (as the one I’ll provide in the image below) it opens the camera app with the overexposed problem. When I turned the heater Off the problem seems to disappear.
