Just downloaded OS ver. 18.3. Onto my Iphone 14. I checked my email and each email doesn't show any images and shows the following message, “Your network settings prevent content from loading privately.” Then there are blue words that say , “Load Content.” I press this to load the images. What setting do I need to change to not have this show up in each email? Thanks.

I hate the new mail look for what it worth. The left side takes up too much space with flags. It cuts the messaging view down, which is already limited on a phone very jumped up looking and can’t see as many messages per page.
But the worst is that I tried to toggle the setting that you said and it has not changed. The fact that pictures will not now load for emails, so nothing works when I want to click on something from an email.
This thread was really helpful after my update to iOS 18.3, because I had the same problem. I wanted to note that I had the same reaction to the new icons on the left-hand side—they take up a lot of space. In the same settings (Settings -> Apps -> Mail) you can also disable “Show Contact Photos” to remove them.
