no imagery here message on maps in Safari

I am repeating this question from another user as there has been no response so far and this is a real problem for me. I am using Safari 15.6.1 within Catalina 10.15.7 and am experiencing this issue when a map should appear on certain websites. What I see is a plain page with just small icons where locations should be and the message "Sorry we have no imagery here" These all worked fine before. I don't think there are Apple software updates available. I have tried some of the cache and history deleting suggestions found on various forums with no success. I have however found this problem does not occur on my much newer IPad mini or IPhone. Any suggestions welcome, should I simply use a different browser?

macOS 10.15.7 "Catalina" is quite outdated by now. Continued degradation of support for its commensurately outdated version of Safari is to be expected for an operating system that has not been updated for about five years now.

I don't think there are Apple software updates available.

Confirm the inability to update its macOS version to something later:

If Catalina is in fact the latest operating system for your specific model iMac, then you can try using Firefox, or Brave.
