but there are commercial companies that do short term computer rentals. GE used to have such a business. maybe others so as well.

you may also be able to make such a deal with a local computer dealer, who has a large enough business to be able to use a used computer you return after the show.

a quick web search for "Mac computer rentals" turned up dozens of prospective Mac rental companies.

Maybe a lower-spec model would do the job for you for less money.
