What should I do if my AirPods Gen 4 won't charge or turn on?

This morning I have tried to connect my airpods that i got 2 months ago and they didnt turn on. I assumed they were dead so I charged them for an hour and it still doesnt work. Theres no orange light when I open the case or take an airpod out. I put them to charge again and now the orange light is showing but as soon as I unplug them, the light goes away.
