MacBook Pro 16 repeatedly shows 100% charge notification

My mac has been behaving strangely for a few days now when the charging cable is connected and it is charged to 100%. In sleep mode it "blipp" and the screen shows battery level 100%. It does this continuously every 2-3 minutes. Does anyone know what this could be?

It charges without problems and works perfectly fine otherwise.
