Why can’t I send messages to an Android
Every time when I try to text a friend that has an android, it turns green and then it says not delivered what do I do about this?
iPhone SE, iOS 18
Click on the red exclamation point to the right of the message, which failed to send.
It will give you the option to try and send it again as an SMS message.
If you have SMS as an option in Settings, Messages, then it will send as an SMS message.
ADDENDUM:
In iPadOS 18.3, the SMS setting is no longer in Settings, Messages, so I guess it’s an automatic option now.
In earlier versions of iOS Settings, Messages, you had a choice whether or not to use SMS.
