Need assistance to learn MacBook Air basics

new MacBook Air and ir has been WAY too long since I've used a Mac because I can't figure out how to do even the most simple things on it...

You could start by looking at some of the resources here:


Mac - Official Apple Support


I especially recommend reviewing the User Guide.


If you live near an Apple Store, they often have free classes you can sign up for.


Today at Apple - Apple


But honestly, having spent years teaching people how to use technology, the best advice I can give is to play around. As long as you don't spill things into the keyboard or drop the whole thing, there isn't that much you can do to hurt it.


And come back here with specific questions. Start a thread when you have a new one. There is lots of help to be had here.
