Print dialog lag on Mac mini M4 after macOS 15.3 update

I've just moved to Sequoia on a new Mac mini M4 and I've noticed that any time I select content to print, it pops up the print dialog box right away, but the printer field is generally "no printer selected" for a few seconds while the color wheel is spinning, and then it finally shows the default or last used printer, and then the preview appears. This happens consistently throughout the day, not just the first time on startup.

If there's a remedy, I'd like to know it! Curious to know if others are experiencing the same. Just upgraded to 15.3 and it's the same as it was on 15.1. Thanks.
