Text Message from Apple Pay I received a text message saying my Apple iCloud id was recently used at "APPLE STORE - CA" and that there are some suspicious sign in requests and apple pay activation requests detected. Is this a scam? They gave a bogus (I think) number to call is an 802 area code.

Apple Pay text message (fraud?) I received the following text message from +1 (615) ***-***9 … I assume it’s some sort of fraud or phishing attempt. Yes?? Yes, most definitely a scam. Apple does not ask first. The payment/fraud is automatically stopped. You have to respond if you want the payment to go through.
