It would be better to change your password and don't tell it anyone, if you have given away your password to someone, even to a person you can trust.
Only you should know the password to unlock your iPhone, then one password will suffice for all purposes.
Alternately move the photos you want to hide to a locked note and remove them from your Photos Library. You can have a separate password for locked notes: How to lock or unlock notes on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
