Iphone 13 Pro Max: can a deferent password be used for hidden photo's than unlock password

I would like to set up a different passcode for hidden photos -vs- unlock passcode, can this be done?

As of iOS 17.1, unfortunately you can not.

There are a number of third party app options in the App Store. Be wary of predatory subscriptions on some of them but there should be a number of apps that are relatively inexpensive that can accomplish what you’re looking for.
