Received a suspicious message regarding my Apple Account

That’s a scam too. Banks don’t work that way. A bank stops the transaction and you have to call the number if you want the charge to go through. Do you see the difference?

Scammers want you to call them to stop the transaction. You call and they ask for all your information to stop the transaction. You give them the information and now they have what they need to actually commit fraud.

Never give out financial information over the phone.

It sounds like it's just a scam. Who sent this to you? You did say "they" but you didn't say who they were. If it's not your credit card company, and you don't have an Apple Card, it's probably not legit.

I would suggest looking at your actual Apple Account and see if there is anything suspicious there.

The moderators edited out the email and changed the whole perspective. It’s definitely a scam and Phishing attempt. Just ignore it or delete and block.

The message has been making the rounds since last July. Same amount, same wording, just different email and phone numbers.

I received this same message from stachris********@ilcoud.com. I've since blocked this person but it definitely made me pause when I first read it.

I got a text saying I have a charge with this card says to call this #188******09 won’t go through but if I don’t I get charged for what I did not charge
