iCloud closure warning despite active subscription

I keep getting emails warning that my iCloud will close down today, but I pay $2.99 a month. Is it a scam?

Urgent renewal notice for Apple iCloud membership I have been receiving emails that I will loose data and photos if I do not renew cloud membershio. I received an urgent message today telling me it was the last day to renew. Is this notice coming from Apple or have I been scammed? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
