iOS 18.3 causing freeze - preventing access / changes to family management

mine is doing the same as all you. The one way I have found to be able to access it is to go to Settings>Screentime>Family(click the member to edit) then from there it lets me access everything to adjust settings. But simply selecting my kid from the settings screen, it loads then freezes. Not backing out, selecting anything….Notta!

Having the same issue and it only started happening after the 18.3 update. All phones updated to same version. Settings completely lock up after trying to access either of my kids screen time settings!!

Same issue iPhone 13 Pro Max after updating to IOS 18.3 and 18.3.1. It’s definitely a bug, but when you open settings>family>family member in order to adjust the screen time, just wait at least 5secs before opening each tab and it won’t freeze. It works for me. Anyway, they should resolve this annoying issue.

Updated to 18.3.1- no change, no resolve.

And I thought updating to 18.3.1 would fix the issue. Very frustrating. My iPhone also runs hot when it hangs on screen time settings.

As a workaround for the last week everytime I have to change the settings for my son I restart the iphone and if it is the first thing I do after restarting, I can change the settings. If it is not the first thing, the changes cannot be done. Of course restarting the iphone everytime I need to change this setting is not a solution, and a very poor workaround.

Please fix this bug

Same. Just did the update and nothing changed. I also do notice after it freezes and I have to close it, the next app I open lags and has a hard time loading for about 10seconds then is fine

Having the exact same issue, since the 18.3 upgrade. When I try to manage my son’s screen time, it just freezes up.

Waiting 5 seconds between each screen worked for me. Thank You!

Hello fireman. I too am have been experiencing similar symptoms when trying to enter screentime settings. My experience is that the settings app will lockup entirely for a period. I can go to other apps, but settings becomes frozen for like a minute.

I'm running iOS 18.2.1 however.

Try updating to iOS 18.3.1, was released today. It contains bug fixes, does not identify what, but you can see if it addressed this.

I can confirm same issue started happening right after updating to 18.3. Very annoying. Please fix
