iPhone Locked To Owner
My Apple ID was not activated and I had lost my email, but I didn't know that when I updated my phone, it was locked to the owner on the iPhone.

ok then contact said owner, if you don't now or if you can't get a hold of said owner, then the phone is useless since you ran into icloud activation lock as outlined here How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support and here Activation Lock for iPhone and iPad - Apple Support
