New Macbook PRO LTE/eSim Support Expectation

Hello Apple Designers,

As you know, we are now working from home, the office, cafes, etc. We are connecting to our systems using our MacBook Pro devices via VPN and managing our work in this way.

It's 2025, and yet there is no LTE support on MacBook Pro devices produced by Apple. For a company and products that cater more to mobility and end-users than just the corporate sector, don't you think you are a bit behind?

At least, please add this feature to the 2025 models now.

No Apple employees participate in these public, fellow user-supported communities. Apple is not reading your post, and we cannot speculate about internal Apple business and product decisions.

You can send your feature request as direct feedback to the MacBook Pro product team.

MacBook Pro does not have a cellular radio inside, and I doubt each and every user wants to pay the extra costs to have one present, whether they would use it or not.

MacBook Pro does have good support for using YOUR nearby powered-on cell phone as a hotspot. You can connect to your phone quickly and easily.

This is why I have a Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro MR6550 (unlocked) for that very purpose. Has a Qualcomm SnapDragon X65 radio. I routinely have 3- 4 signal bars to T-Mobile 5G UC and have a choice of Wi-Fi 6 or 6E. My data plan costs $10/mo for 30GB.
