Best colouriser for black and white photos?

I have a large number of ancient black and white photos I would like to colourise for a video project.

I have tried PhotosRevive which is rather hit and miss . . . sometimes good, sometimes not!

Have you got any favourite you can recommend that consistently produces good results?

I need a standalone app not an online one.

Mac mini, macOS 10.15

Finding all black & white photos in Apple Photos I see that folks have been asking since recent MacOS updates, how they can find black and white photos. I haven't seen an answer that was good. I finally realized I could type "monochrome" as the keyword and get what seems like a lot of the images. However, it also pulled up some tinted monochrome images. Is there a better and quicker way that is more sure to get all b+w photos? A tag that works completely?

Many photos shot with wrong colour setting. Batch convert? I shot numerous photos yesterday with my camera set accidentally to "Vivid" instead of "Standard" with the result that they are all oversaturated and with too warm a colour temperature. To convert them individually is something of an onerous task.I have XNView but can't find any way to batch convert them?

Video lost color after exporting from Photos app Dear community, I’m running an iPhone 13 Pro and have decided to shoot some scenes for my video in HDR Dolby Vision for the first time. They playback seamlesly on the iphone. When I tried exporting from photos app to files on my mac the colors became either flickering gray/yellowish or just gray. At first I thought that’s an issue with the mac (it’s a 2014 MBP running catalina) but then I realized that playing back from files on my iphone gives me the same corrupted result. Worst of all because those files were taking considerable amount of space I’ve removed them from photos and cleared the recently deleted folder. I am a bit desperate to get those files working again. Are those files fixable? Is there any way I could get color back in them. Or maybe play them back on any other device? Alternatively if not is there any possibility by apple to restore the photo library to a state from before couple of days or so?

That wasn't a black and white photo?

Just a faded colour picture with the colours enhanced?

What would it look like if you simply increased the Saturation? I'm always looking for the easy way out!

Wow!!!! They are amazing. To me, the one in color looks less..realistic? More dreamlike. Just beautiful.
