Apple Connect is required but is not installed, or one of its key components is missing

I did some contract work for apple a couple few years ago.

And now I have that error message.

I can't get rid of it. Or click on the buttons.

I have tried the advice that other people have been given on this topic but none of it worked.

iMac 27″, macOS 15.1
