How do you move money directly from your bank account to Apple Pay without using your debit card?

So the only way to transfer money onto my Apple Pay account is by using my debit card, I cannot do it with my actual bank account using my bank’s routing number and account number?

Yes, that’s correct. Funds added to Apple Cash must come from a debit card and funds transferred from Apple Cash may be transferred to either a bank account or debit card.

Apple Pay is not an account. Funds can be transferred into Apple Cash account (prepaid debit card) but only using another debit card in your Apple Wallet app. Some prepaid debit cards, such as some Vanilla Visa Cards do not permit card transfers.
