iPad is stuck on Clock app even after force restart

please help. its stuck. i cant do anything except the normal clock functions. i cant check my wifi, i cant swipe up, just... stuck. even when i force reset it puts me back to clock app. this is the third time... please help and tell me how i can prevent it from happening again!!!

iPad stuck on black screen with loading circle I don't know which one mine exactly is, but it is on iPadOS 14.7.1, and is model A1980. The icons and names of some apps were missing after turning it back on so I turned the iPad off and turned it back on, but when I logged back on, I saw that the icon of the settings app was gone. And then it got stuck on a black screen with a frozen loading circle, which started moving. I get worried easily by stuff like this because of things that happened before. Sometimes the loading circle disappears, so I try clicking the power button, and then the loading circle comes back. Both times that I tried turning it on, it took longer than normal.

How to reset the iPad without Wi-Fi access? Every time I restart my IPad it immediately opens an app, then it freezes, without ability to swipe up. It won’t allow me to connect to the internet because the app opens every time I restart the IPad. I’m at a loss how to reset the iPad without WiFi access? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

It sounds like you enabled Guided Access, which restricts you to the app you launch after you enable it.

my ipad doesnt even have guided access turned on... im so confused how is it still working when i havent even touched it
