Dots above dynamic island

Might be this:

The dots seem to be the same shade of color as your wallpaper. Can you find your wallpaper and see if the dots are part of it?

Yes, I just tried it, too. The opening phrase, If you see multiple dots above the "island" (the notch area) on your iPhone, makes it sound just like what the OP is seeing. But it looks nothing like that when you turn it on.

Screenshot it. Don't take a picture of it. Do you know how to take a screenshot? Press the volume up and side power buttons at the same time and you'll take a screenshot. If it's still too large, email it to yourself, and you can choose to send it medium or small as opposed to full size.

I’m thinking that way too. The dots aren’t centered on the island.

I thought of that too. I played with that a few months ago but don’t recall dots above Dynamic Island. The dots were along the edges.
