Epson Printer will no longer communicate with iMac after software update.

I recently upgraded my iMac to Sequoia 15.3. The next time I tried to print a screen came up asking if I wanted to permit raster**** (I didn't make note of the specific name) permission to access all devices. Not knowing what it was I denied access. Since then I get a communication error whenever I try to print on my Epson NX420. Oddly, I can still access the scan feature on the printer. I am connected to the printer by cable. I can still access the printer and print by wifi using my MacBook Pro so it appears the issue is with the iMac rather than the printer. I have deleted the printer and reloaded it on the iMac. I also went into system settings - Sharing - and turned on printer sharing. I updated the software on both my iMac and the printer. Nothing has worked so far. Perhaps if I could permit raster*** access, but I don't know how to grant access to it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Reset the iMac's Printing System and then Re-Add the Printer.

Brief update - no progress but I did reset printer system again, then rebooted the Mac and printer and successfully added the printer but it still wouldn't print 'because of a communication error'. Likewise, printer Utilities shows only 'communication error' and printer 'offline'.

How can the printer be visible in the printer list but also be 'offline'?

I'm stumped!

Thanks. I checked...

Couldn't find the IP address on the computer so checked the WiFi connection directly on the printer - no connection. Re-entered the WiFi login details manually on the printer (using the irritatingly tiny letter by letter letter input), double-checked password etc.. Still no WiFi connection. Printed report. It says:

'A router/access point channel conflict has been detected', which is odd, as no new devices have been added recently.

How do I locate the channel conflict?
