Auto Complete not Working in GMAIL app on MAC

I cannot get email addresses to auto-complete on the Gmail app on my MAC. I see lots of posts about how to fix auto-complete with GMAIL in a browser, but I am using the GMAIL APP on my MAC - not a browser.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

That's made by a company called Fusepong, not by Google. Fusebong is a company in Columbia, it's not Google. So that's not a problem in and of itself, but to get that software to work the way you want would be something to work through their user support, not Apple nor Google. That said, the auto-complete of email addresses is often accomplished in various apps by linking them in some way with your Contacts, and using that for autocomplete. So maybe look in the setup or Preferences or Settings for this EasyMail app to see if that is any option. Think about it before selecting that option as it might involve sharing your contacts with that company in Columbia, some software companies have their apps "phone home." Maybe a privacy concern. Or maybe EasyMail has its own contacts list and you can enter addresses there or import them from your Apple Contacts. If there is a user guide it may explain some of this, or as I said, support from the company.

Google does not provide a Google GMAIL app for Macs, Google's supported way to access email if via a web browser.

So what GMAIL app are you using? All that are offered come from third party vendors, not from Google or Apple, although Apple Mail can be used to access GMAIL.

The functionality in such third party apps is probably best addressed directly with they vendor support services.

I know scores of people using GMAIL on Macs but none use a dedicated app, all use either the built in Apple Mail or a web browser. Only the web browser approach is directly supported by Google.
