Game requests not being approved

My child’s phone is set so that it sends me game requests when they want to download a game. The child sends me the game request and my phone pulls it up just fine. I hit approve and then it just goes away or it doesn’t do anything and it doesn’t actually approve the game. I’ve been trying all night to get this thing to work. Does anybody have any ideas on how I can fix this issue because my child can’t play any games on their new phone because it won’t download them because it’s saying my phone isn’t approving them even though I’m pushing the approve button Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
