Solved: Changing the Messenger notification sound

You can change the notification sound for Messenger by clicking the three stripes in the top left corner in the Messenger app, click on the Settings icon to the right, go to Notifications and Sounds, go to Text sounds and choose between the 7 different sounds :)

Sounds, not notifications, sounds within messenger I have all notifications off for messenger. I haptics off. So when I’m in a chat with someone there is no sound when they are writing and there no sound when I receive their message. are no sounds when I’m writing. This is how it was. NOW I have not changed any settings but the sounds in messenger are back!! I reviewed the settings at least 20 times, all settings are the same, but haptics is back on in messenger.
