iPhone alarm not sounding/going off 2/8/2025

I woke up to my alarm not going off but instead just displaying the alarm screen without sound or vibration. I tried setting another alarm for one minute after the time it was and yet again no sound and no vibration.

• I do not have DND on
• i have ringer off (I tried it with ringer on, same issue)
• I ensured I was not connected to any Bluetooth devices
• I fully closed the Clock app (swiping up to change apps and then swiping up to fully close the app to reset the app), still same issue

rhese were all issues a lot of other users were facing and tried

THIS WORKED FOR ME:

resetting my phone.

Here’s how

1) press the VOLUME UP

2) immediately press the VOLUME DOWN after

3) click and hold POWER BUTTON until phone resets itself (slide to power off button will show up BUT KEEP HOLDING until you see the Apple logo appear, keep holding, it’ll do a soft reset on the iPhone)

I went back to my Clock app, set a volume and vibrate alarm for 1 min after, and VOILÀ it worked!
