How to fix sporadic resolution display on Apple TV 4K?
The screen displays the resolution in the top corner and then goes away only to come back sporadically.

The Apple TV generally doesn’t have the feature to display the resolution on the screen in the top corner, so I’m assuming that your TV set is displaying this on top of the Apple TV screen. This is quite common for TVs to do.
the fact that it comes and goes, is probably a sign of a unstable connection between your TV and the Apple TV. Please check the cable connection. Then, you can also do a HDMI connection test on your Apple TV. It helps you set the right resolution and refresh rate, which could be reason for this to happen as well.
On your Apple TV, go to
Settings -> Video and Audio -> Check HDMI connection
