How can I fix 'UNSUPPORTED FILE ATTACHMENT' error for scanned PDFs in Notes on Mac with iOS 18.1.1 iPhone XS Max

A few weeks ago I upgraded my 2 iPhones, the oldest one lost the image from the frontal camera and the one that I use for work "broke" my Notes APP. I used to create pdf files using the scan function from Notes and to access them from my Mac, but now when I open the Notes app in my Mac I get the "UNSUPPORTED FILE ATTACHMENT UPGRADE IOS TO VIEW THIS ATTACHMENT" message. The Phone is already updated . How can I fix this?

Mac version is Ventura
