Why was my Apple Watch SE standard strap not included?

When I bought my Apple Watch SE I opted for a different strap and was charged £50 for the Orange fabric band. When I picked up the watch from the store, the band was fitted but the standard band was not in the box? So my question is - Was the standard watch strap meant to be included PLUS the new one I purchased or is the watch strap £50 plus the cost of the standard one???

I feel that the charge wasn't explained and that the original strap should be in the box as well.

I suggest that you contact the store you purchased this Apple Watch from.

FWIW, I just tried purchasing an Apple Watch SE at the online Apple Store. You are required to pick a band when going through the ordering process, and that is what is shown in "What's in the box" at the end before actually making the purchase ... so that leads me to believe, there is no "standard" band outside of what you request initially.

Furthermore, when I actually purchased my Watch SE about a year ago, the band was NOT in the box with the watch, but in a separate box by itself.
