That's unfortunate. But you broke your phone and it has to be fixed. As long as you have been backing up your phone, you'll be able to restore the data back after the screen is replaced. If you haven't backed up your data, your data is gone. Backups MUST happen before something goes wrong.

Having something go wrong is always a possibility with any computing device (as it is with your car, your appliances, or anything else you own), so making regular backups is a wise policy. The whole point of making backups is to safeguard against unexpected events. If we all knew in advance when something is going to go wrong, life would be a lot easier.

And no, if you can't get your iPhone unlocked, you will not be able to back it up now.

If i knew that my screen would get brocken i would definetely back up my files. Thanks a lot.

You would also back up your files if you thought that that your phone might be lost, stolen, dropped, accidentally fall into water, etc. When something like this happens......it's already too late to back up the phone.

The bottom line here is that users who do not value the data on their phones, do not bother to back up that data....and....at some point, they will very likely lose that data. The only question is when.

Painful lesson. It only takes a few taps to set up your phone to back up automatically each day. Might be worth considering when you get the phone back from the shop.
